Requesting the Migration of an Existing Environment to a Newly Created Environment Using a Different SKU or in a Different Region, Cloud Account, or IAM Domain

Use this section to request Oracle to migrate an existing environment to a newly created environment in the following scenarios:

  • Migrate from a legacy subscription to the EPM Enterprise Subscription
  • Migrate your current environment to a different region
  • Migrate your current environment to a different cloud account (for example, to the cloud account where your ERP environment is located)
  • Migrate your current environment to a different IAM domain (for example, to locate your production and test environments in different IAM domains)

Scheduled Migration Windows

To streamline migration requests, Oracle has scheduled two migration windows each month. These windows occur on the Mondays immediately following the first and third Fridays of every month, from 03:00 UTC to 15:00 UTC. For example, in May 2026, the migration windows are scheduled for May 4 and May 18, from 03:00 UTC to 15:00 UTC. Customers may request migrations during any of these windows.

Migration Process

Follow this process to migrate your environments for any of the previously listed scenarios.

  1. Work with your Sales team to submit a new order.
  2. After receiving the subscription activation email, create a new cloud account or add the subscription to an existing cloud account. See Activating Cloud EPM Subscription in the Getting Started Guide for Administrators.

  3. Create new environments in the desired region, cloud account, or IAM domain. See Setting Up a Cloud EPM or Cloud EDM Environment in the Getting Started Guide for Administrators.
  4. Optional: If you created a new cloud account or IAM domain, set up Single Sign On (SSO) and Network Perimeter for the new cloud account or IAM domain if you want to use these features. See these information sources:
  5. Decide the month and date when Oracle should migrate the environment. See Scheduled Migration Windows.

    Note:

You may decide to migrate all your environments in the same migration window or in different migration windows. For example, you may want to migrate all test environments in the same window followed by all production environments in another migration window.
  6. At least one week before the selected migration window, create a service request to Oracle to migrate the existing environments to the newly created environments. In the service request, provide this information:
    • Selected migration date from the scheduled migration windows.
    • A spreadsheet with the mapping from the URLs of the existing environments to the URLs of the newly created environments.
    • After migration, whether you want the newly created environments to be accessible by the same service URLs as those of the corresponding existing environments.
  7. Terminate the existing environments after you test the migrated environments. See Deleting an Environment in Getting Started Guide for Administrators.
