Requesting Essbase Upgrade

Starting with the 25.09 update, new Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management environments are created with Oracle Essbase version 21.7.xxx.

Over time, Oracle will migrate all Cloud EPM environments to use Essbase version 21.7.xxx. Until then, existing environments will continue to be on Essbase version 11.1.2.4.516.xxx. See Information About Your Environment in the Getting Started Guide for Administrators to identify the Essbase version of your environment in the Activity Report.

Note:

The snapshot of an environment on Essbase version 21.7.xxx cannot be imported into an environment on Essbase version 11.1.2.4.516.xxx.

If you have environments on Essbase version 21.7.xxx along with environments on Essbase version 11.1.2.4.516.xxx, you will face compatibility issues from migration and cloning perspectives. To resolve such compatibility issues, you should upgrade the environments on Essbase version 11.1.2.4.516.xxx to Essbase version 21.7.xxx.

To request Oracle to upgrade your environments to Essbase version 21.7.xxx, complete these steps:

• Create a Provide Feedback submission from each environment that you want to upgrade to Essbase version 21.7.xxx. See Creating a Provide Feedback Submission.
• Create a technical service request. See Submitting a Technical Service Request. In the service request, specify the Provide Feedback reference numbers.
