Verify Oracle Fusion Service Application Prerequisites

Important: This information only applies to Oracle Field Service environments. You can verify whether you've Oracle Field Service or Oracle Fusion Field Service, by signing in and checking on the About page.

Use the Confirm Prerequisites dialog box to verify that the required Oracle Fusion Service setup is complete before you configure an Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics application in Oracle Field Service.

Oracle Field Service displays this dialog box during setup and maintenance actions for Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics integrations, such as when you add, retry, reconfigure, or modify an application. The dialog box helps administrators review prerequisite tasks and access related Oracle Fusion Service documentation before continuing.

Before You Begin

Complete the required setup tasks in Oracle Fusion Service:

The prerequisite confirmation step verifies that the Fusion-side setup is complete before Oracle Field Service attempts automated configuration. It doesn’t perform the setup for you. If a required prerequisite is missing, complete it in Oracle Fusion Service, and then return to Oracle Field Service to continue.

  1. Sign in to Oracle Field Service as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to the Applications page.
  3. Perform one of these actions:
    • Add a new Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics application
    • Retry a failed application configuration
    • Reconfigure an existing Oracle Fusion Service application
    • Modify an existing Oracle Fusion Service application
  4. In the Confirm Prerequisites dialog box, review the listed Oracle Fusion Service prerequisite tasks.
  5. Click the documentation links in the dialog box to verify that the required setup is complete.
  6. Complete any missing prerequisite tasks in Oracle Fusion Service.
  7. Return to Oracle Field Service and continue the application configuration.
Note: The Confirm Prerequisites dialog box does not automatically complete the Oracle Fusion Service setup tasks. It is recommended that you complete all prerequisite setup tasks before continuing with the application configuration.
