Viewing Financial Analysis Results
The Analysis tab in the Financial Analysis Hub provides a centralized workspace for reviewing consolidated financial data. You can select the required POV, run predefined analysis views, review variances, identify major movements, view analysis highlights, and drill into supporting details. The Analysis tab enables you to perform faster close analysis and improve transparency across accounts, entities, and reporting periods.
All analysis results are divided into two structures:
-
Hierarchy Analysis. See Viewing the Hierarchy Analysis.
-
Ratios (Key Metrics) Analysis. See Viewing Financial Analysis Ratios..
You can also view Key Highlights that add context and enable easier comparative analysis. See Viewing Key Highlights
The following actions are available from the Analysis page:

Prerequisites
Before performing a Financial Analysis review, the following prerequisites must be met to ensure accurate results and system responsiveness:
-
The application must be configured as a Dense/Sparse Optimized (DSO) application to support the Financial Analysis framework.
-
If Approval Units are enabled within the application, the relevant unit must be in the Start phase for the specific POV (Point of View) — covering the selected Entity, Period, Year, and Scenario dimensions.
-
The Consolidation or Translation process should be completed if Activity Trigger Events are not Consolidation/Translation.
If consolidation or translation has been executed at a parent level, the Financial Analysis page will automatically perform on-the-fly calculations and visualizations for the selected parent entity and its descendants based on the specified Year, Period, and Scenario by use of separate configurations for parent entity and children entities.
-
The data status of the relevant entity must be OK to ensure that the underlying numbers are validated and ready for analysis.
-
You must have appropriate access permissions for the selected POV to view and interact with the analysis results.
