Enabling AI in FreeForm

Enable AI in FreeForm to empower users with data science optimized for multidimensional planning and forecasting use cases and to utilize Reports to generate narrative summaries.

To enable AI in FreeForm:

1. From the Home Page, click Application, and then click Settings.
2. In the Enable AI section, select Generative AI to enable these abilities:

   • Automatically generate narrative summaries for a single insight or group of insights. Insight summaries use GenAI. Output from GenAI may not always be factual, accurate, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and using GenAI output at your discretion.

   • Use GenAI to determine how to handle negative values and decimal values in Auto Predict and Predictive Planning.

   • Enable Gen AI narrative summaries for Reports.
3. In the Enable AI section, select Advanced Predictions to enable AI data analysis for advanced, multivariate predictions.
4. Click Save.

Note:

The Enable AI option is available only for EPM Enterprise subscriptions and additionally, it is available only for Insights and prediction features when Hybrid mode is enabled. For more information, see Considerations for IPM Insights.

Generative AI features are available in many OCI realms. To view the realms where it is available, refer to Availability of Generative AI in the Operations Guide. If AI isn’t available in your home region, then the Enable AI option is not displayed.
