Access Workers REST API

In addition to the predefined duty roles that are grouped logically, three other predefined duty roles are configured to grant role-based access to the workers REST API. These duty roles represent real-world groups of tasks that are required to be performed by users with a specific role. Click each role for detailed information.

Worker	Use REST Service - Worker as Worker
Manager	Use REST Service - Worker as Manager
HR Specialist	Use REST Service - Worker as HR

For additional requirements that are not met with predefined duty roles, you must create custom abstract or job roles with the desired function, data and/or duty privileges defined for the workers REST API. See the section Set up Custom Roles for examples.

Note:

The Human Capital Management Integration Specialist Job Role has all the privileges required to use theworkers API out of the box. You don't need to grant additional security privileges to this role. It has the same privileges that have been granted to the Use REST Service - Worker as HR duty role.

Predefined duty roles are not assigned to any other role except the Human Capital Management Integration Specialist Job Role.
