Get Started with Team Activity Center

Access the Team Activity Center application tile from the My Team tab.

From Team Activity Center, you can:

  • Switch to the Team Activity Center page of managers who report to you by using Switch Team.
  • Open a worker's Person Activity Center by selecting the worker's name.

Review Team Performance

Team Activity Center provides a high-level view of your team's performance and workforce metrics through analytic cards. These cards are for the manager whose Team Activity Center page is being viewed. If you switch to the Team Activity Center page of any of your directs, the counts pertain to them.

Analytic Card View Description
Workers N Directs, N Total Count of the number of line manager worker assignments directly reporting to the manager, and the total number reporting to the manager in the hierarchy.
Retention X% This is 100% minus the annualized headcount turnover (termination headcount for the year / average of headcount a year ago and current headcount).
Achieve X of Y goals completed Count of completed performance goals among the manager's direct reports (including matrix) for the "current review period" out of the total assigned
Dynamic Skills X of Y core skills achieved

Y=Count of the distinct core skills assigned to line manager directs

X=Count of the distinct core skills assigned to line manager directs that are achieved

You can personalize these cards using Visual Builder Studio so that managers see only the information that's most relevant to them.

Manage Team Communications

The Communication section helps managers stay informed about activities that require attention. The communication experience has also been enhanced by combining the communication banner and guided journeys into a single banner. Like My Activity Center, the communication section displays banners that have been created using HCM Communicate, Grow and so on.

Guided journeys can also be configured for individual sections of Team Activity Center, providing contextual guidance where it's most relevant.

If you have any journeys with open tasks assigned to you, you can view them on the Team Activity Center page. It enables you to take relevant actions on the open tasks by redirecting you to the Journeys application.

Quick actions

Select View More in the Quick actions section to access pinned quick actions, other available quick actions that are available on the My Team tab. The quick actions open Redwood-enabled pages only. You can also view a list of applications in the Applications section of the Quick actions panel. These applications depend on your implementation and security privileges and can include tasks such as:
  • Absence planning
  • Performance evaluations
  • Pending worker actions
  • Position changes
  • Succession planning

You can pin frequently used quick actions so that they appear at the start of the list. You can pin a maximum of 10 quick actions.

A manager can have a set of pinned actions for their My Activity Center and another set for their team member’s Person Activity Center. Once a manager selects or changes pinned quick actions for a team member, the same set of pins will apply to all their team members.

You can retain pinned actions across sessions, when you’re viewing Person Activity on the same browser or computer.

If your administrator has set default pinned quick actions and you haven't selected any pinned quick actions, the default pins appear after you refresh the page. If you've selected your own pinned quick actions, your selections remain unchanged.
