Manage Your Team

Team Activity Center provides multiple views to help you manage your team's employment, compensation, talent, recruiting, and position information from a single page.

Use the View filter to switch between the available views:

  • Workers
  • Positions
  • Requisitions
  • Offers

The default view is Workers.

You can search for team members, apply filters, and perform team-level actions directly from any view.

Workers

The Workers view provides displays only employees who report to your active manager assignment. Inactive and terminated assignments aren't displayed, helping you focus on workers you can currently manage.

Use the tabs in this view to review employment, compensation, and talent information for each worker.

Expand a worker's record to view additional details, and use the ellipsis menu to perform worker-specific tasks.

Select a worker's name to open their Person Activity Center.

You’ll see the local time and location for a worker if a time zone is defined for the worker's work location.

Update Employee Check-ins

Managers can create or update employee check-ins directly from the Talent tab.

  • If a worker already has a check-in, selecting the Last Check-in date opens the Update Check-in page.
  • If no check-in exists, selecting the None link opens the Create Check-in page.

Positions

The Positions view displays information about:

  • Position names and codes in your organization
  • Incumbents assigned to each position

HCM position hierarchy must be set up to view info in this view.

You can search for positions by incumbent name and filter by your Direct Reports or All Reports.

Select a position to view more details, or view the Position Hierarchy in your organization. The position hierarchy view is based on the HCM position hierarchy and not assignment hierarchy.

Requisitions

If Oracle Recruiting is implemented, you can view open requisitions for which you or members of your organization are the hiring managers.

The Requisitions view displays these details for each requisition:

  • Recruiter
  • Department
  • Work Location
  • Number of candidates who applied
  • Number of openings available
Selecting a requisition opens a detailed view in the Redwood experience.
Note: Taleo requisitions aren’t available in the Team Activity Center page.

Offers

The Offers displays information about candidates who've received employment offers for your team.

The Offers view displays information similar to the Workers Employment tab. From here, you can review employment details before new hires join your organization.

Selecting an offer takes you to the detailed view. Navigation to this view is available only when the ORA_IRC_JOB_APPLICATION_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option is enabled.

Note: Selecting a worker, position, requisition, or offer opens the corresponding Redwood page, even if Redwood hasn't been enabled for that application.

Perform Team Actions

From any of the views, use the Team Actions button to initiate common actions for your team.

Available actions depend on your implementation and security privileges and can include tasks such as:

  • Absence planning
  • Performance evaluations
  • Pending worker actions
  • Position changes
  • Succession planning

You can pin frequently used quick actions to display first in the Team Actions menu options. Select the View More option to pin them.

Team actions that are displayed are of Redwood-enabled pages only.
