Managing dependencies for images and files
Asset dependencies are assets that are affected when you update an image or file. Asset dependencies impact the actions you can perform with an image or file, and what occurs if the image or file is replaced.
There are a couple reasons to be aware of asset dependencies:
- You cannot delete an image or file with dependencies.
- All assets dependent on an image or file are altered when you update the image or file.
To view dependencies:
- Navigate to Assets
> Components then click Images or File Storage. - Open the image or file.
- Click the number beside Asset Dependencies.
- Oracle Eloqua displays the dependencies in the Dependencies window.
- Double-click an asset dependency, Oracle Eloqua brings you to the asset so you can make your changes.
