Modifying email templates

You can change the layout and content of an email template. Changing the template does not change any emails that were created using the template.

Note: To manage templates, you must have the Manage Templates action permission and asset permissions for the asset. Learn more about action permissions and asset permissions.

To modify a template from the template manager:

  1. Navigate to Assets An image of the Assets icon, which is represented by a black pencil., then click Emails.
  2. Open the templates list:
    • In the classic UI, click Manage Templates.
    • In the Redwood experience, choose Templates from the page selector.
  3. Open the template you want to change and make your changes.
