Defining Invalid Keyword Response Messages

In SMS campaigns, an invalid keyword response messages will be sent to originating mobile numbers if the incoming message contains an invalid keyword or a keyword that is inactive or is not defined for the code.

Account Administrators can create invalid keyword response messages for dedicated short codes and for long codes.

To work with invalid keywords:

  1. From the side navigation bar, select Account . (If you do not see the side navigation bar, click the Menu button (aka Hamburger menu) icon.)
  2. Select Campaign management, and then select SMS invalid keyword message. (Not seeing this choice? Refer to the Account management changes topic.)

    The Define Invalid Keyword Message page opens. The Define Invalid Keywords page shows messages for all codes. You will also see the Sender Name corresponding to each code, if applicable.

  3. To view the message for a specific code, select the code from the Select Code drop-down list.
