Authorizing Login IP Addresses

You can restrict Oracle Responsys login access based on a range of authorized ("allowlisted") login IP addresses. Any login attempts initiated outside of your authorized range are immediately denied.

IP address restrictions are configured by My Oracle Support. This type of restriction can help protect access from unauthorized users.

Before you begin:

  • Your access list may consist of one or more login IP address ranges.

  • Default for this feature is to apply no restrictions.

To enable login IP enforcement:

  1. Identify the IP addresses you want to authorize. Your access list may consist of one or more login IP address ranges.
  2. Log in to My Oracle Support and create a service request.

Important: Requests to add authorized IP addresses must be submitted by the primary Account Administrator (that is, the person whose user login is admin@<accountname>).

To view authorized login IP addresses:

  1. From the side navigation bar, select The Account icon Account. (If you do not see the side navigation bar, click the Menu button (aka Hamburger menu) icon.)
  2. Select Global settings, and then select IP login restrictions. (Not seeing this choice? Refer to the Account management changes topic.)

If you do not see any IP addresses listed on this page, the feature has not been enabled for your account.

  3. If you need to make changes, log in to My Oracle Support and create a service request.

Important: Requests to change authorized IP addresses must be submitted by the primary Account Administrator (that is, the person whose user login is admin@<accountname>).
