Getting Started With the NetSuite integration
You should use the following steps to set up and get familiar with the NetSuite integration before using it to exchange information between NetSuite and OpenAir:
You should test the initial configuration and any subsequent changes using NetSuite and OpenAir sandbox accounts, before implementing the integration on a production environment.
Step 1 — Prerequisites and Setup
NetSuite Professional services configure your NetSuite and OpenAir initially so you can use the integration.

Step 2 — Read the Relevant Documentation

Step 3 — Configure the Integration in NetSuite
See Configuring NetSuite for the Integration.
Data that can be imported from NetSuite into OpenAir include users, customers, contacts, projects, items, expense categories, vendors, purchase items, sales orders, expense report reimbursements, invoice payments, purchase orders, and customer deposits and credit memos applied to invoices. Step 4 — Configure the Integration in OpenAir
See Configuring OpenAir for the Integration.
Data that can be exported from OpenAir to NetSuite include customers, projects approved expense reports, approved invoices, approved timesheets, and revenue recognition transactions. See Supported Record Types and Integration Operations.
Step 5 — Run the Integration
After NetSuite and OpenAir are configured for the integration, you can:

Run the integration on demand or use OpenAir form and schedule scripts to trigger the integration. See Running the NetSuite <> OpenAir Integration.
