Use direct filters
Check this box to use direct filters for export workflows and speed up your integration.
When checked, OpenAir NetSuite Connector retrieves only those records matching the filter conditions from the database. Otherwise, OpenAir NetSuite Connector retrieves all records and evaluates the each record against the filter conditions.
Make sure all existing filters are valid before enabling direct filters. Previously, custom filters containing syntax errors were ignored — all records matching the default filter conditions were exported. When using direct filters, an error is returned and the export fails if there is a syntax error in your custom filter. You should test this feature on a sandbox account to validate existing filters before you enable it on your production account.
Direct filtering is always used for:
-
Update NetSuite Projects with OpenAir Project Data export workflow. See Update NetSuite Projects with OpenAir Project Data Export Workflow.
-
Update NetSuite Tasks with OpenAir Task Data export workflow. See Update NetSuite Tasks with OpenAir Task Data.
-
Custom workflows exporting published OpenAir report data to NetSuite custom records, independently of the Use direct filters for export workflows administration setting. For more information about published report custom exports, see Exporting OpenAir Published Report Data To NetSuite Custom Record Types.
The Use direct filters setting has no impact on these workflows.
