Manage your authentication methods
QuickStart supports a password, passkeys, and single sign-on (SSO) as authentication methods. The methods available to you depend on your account configuration.
To review your methods, open the user menu, select My preferences, and then select Security and authentication > Authentication.
- Passwordless sign-in lists your passkeys and provides Add new passkey.
- Password provides Change password, Create password, or Delete, depending on the methods already configured.
- Single sign-on appears only when your administrator has configured at least one SSO provider. It provides an action such as Connect or Disconnect.
You can configure more than one method and choose an available method when you sign in or verify your identity. QuickStart prevents you from removing your last authentication method so that you do not lose access to your account.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional verification step. It does not replace your first authentication method.
