Launching the Configurable Items Page from Third-party Websites

The Configurable Items page shows all your active products. From this page, users can choose the items they want to configure. You can let users access this page from third-party websites and configure items outside of NetSuite.

To integrate this page into your third-party website, first make products available externally. Then, create the link you'll use in your implementation.

To launch the Configurable Items page externally:

  1. Make configurable items available externally.

    1. Go to CPQ > Configurator > Settings.

    2. Check the Launch products from SuiteCommerce box.

  2. Define the specific configurable items that users can open from your website.

    1. Go to the product record of each configurable item you want users to access.

    2. Check the Available on SuiteCommerce box.

  3. Create the link you'll use in your third-party website.

    1. Go to Customizations > Scripting > Script Deployments.

    2. In the Type field in the Filters section, select Suitelet.

    3. Find and view the CPQC-ST-SCA-Wrapper script (ID customdeploy_cpqc_st_sca).

    4. Verify that the Available without login box is checked.

    5. Click the link in the External URL field. A new browser tab will open.

    6. Append the &cmd=selector string to the link in the browser's address bar.

    7. Press Enter to verify that the Configurable Items page loads correctly.

After creating and testing the link, you can use it in your third-party website to show the Configurable Items page and let users configure items outside of NetSuite.
