System Customization Analysis

  • Administrator

                    Analyze our current NetSuite instance customizations. Focus on identifying dependencies and relevancy of all customizations, including:

1. Custom Records & Fields: Identify which custom records, fields, and lists are actively used and critical for business processes. Highlight those with dependencies on other records, workflows, or scripts.

2. Workflows & SuiteScripts: Determine which workflows and scripts are essential, based on current usage, process impact, and interdependencies with other modules.

3. Reports & Saved Searches: Identify reports and searches that drive decision-making and have dependencies on custom records, fields, or workflows.

4. Integrations & External Connections: Highlight integrations that rely on customizations or are critical for core processes.

5. Obsolete or Redundant Customizations: Identify customizations that are unused, redundant, or could be replaced with native functionality.
For each customization, provide:
* Its description and purpose
* Dependencies on other objects or processes
* Current usage metrics or relevancy score
* Recommendation: Keep, replace with native functionality, or retire
Organize results by module (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, etc.) and prioritize customizations critical for business continuity.
