NetSuite AI Connector Service

Note:

In user-facing contexts, AI applications that can connect to MCP servers are often called AI assistants, while applications that act autonomously may be also referred to as AI agents. For consistency, the NetSuite AI Connector Service and other related help topics use the term AI clients to refer to all such applications. Other terms used in the help topics may also differ in documentation produced by different companies, as naming conventions are not standardized yet across the industry.

NetSuite gives you the option to use an external AI client to complete some of your tasks.

NetSuite has adopted the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which boosts its integration capabilities and enables secure interactions between AI models and data systems. NetSuite provides the MCP Standard Tools SuiteApp with a set of tools that let you interact with your NetSuite data, but you also have the option to build your own tools. This SuiteApp is targeted to be available in September 2025.
