Account Warmer FAQ
The following questions and answers could be helpful if you have a question. If you need further help or want to report an issue, please contact your account administrator, or support team.
What should I expect from the Account Warmer SuiteApp?
Account Warmer improves slow first-load interactions for top records in your production account. After a warm-up, first interactions with selected records may be closer in performance to subsequent loads.
Each run can warm up to 25 records.
Some record types, such as custom records, may not support preloading and can be skipped. These records may be evaluated again in the future.
What doesn't the Account Warmer SuiteApp do?
Account Warmer does not speed up UI rendering or improve the time required to save records. It also does not modify record data.
Why can't I see the Account Warmer Portlet under Personalize > SuiteApps?
It's possible you have a previous version of the SuiteApp installed in your NetSuite Account. You'll need to remove the existing portlet to refresh the list and then you can try adding it again.
Do I need to add the Portlet for warming to work?
Yes. Warming runs automatically when the Account Warmer portlet is added to your Home page. The portlet provides visibility into warming results and lets you start a run manually.
Does the Account Warmer SuiteApp modify my data?
No. Account Warmer does not change or save your record data. It warms selected records to improve first-load performance.
Can I choose which record types are warmed?
Yes. You can choose up to 25 priority record types to be warmed. If you choose fewer than 25 record types, the SuiteApp automatically selects top record types and warms up to the 25 view records and 25 edit records per run. Priority records are warmed first, and then the most-used record types are warmed up to the 25 record types limit.
I am seeing slowness when loading a record. How do I know if the Account Warmer can help improve performance?
If you load a record manually from the UI and you are still seeing the performance issue on the second or subsequent loads, the Account Warmer won't help.
The Account Warmer only improves the first load slowness issue. It only helps with slowness that disappears with a second or subsequent manual UI loads.
