Renewing Sales Orders Manually
You can create and set up sales orders for manual renewal. This is useful if you do not know yet when a sales order should be renewed, or you want to renew sales orders whenever necessary. You can click the Create Renewal button to manually renew sales orders. The button is available on existing and newly created sales orders where the Renew SO Automatically box is left clear.
To enable manual renewal of a sales order:

Edit an existing sales order. Or create a new one from Transactions > Sales > Enter Sales Order.

(Optional) In the Custom Form field, select Sales Order Renewals. However, you can select other custom forms as necessary, as the renewal process also works with them.

Enter or change values in required fields of the sales order.

Add items and ensure that they are eligible for sales order renewal. For more information, see Items that can be Included in Sales Order Renewal.

Ensure that the Renew SO Automatically box is clear or do not check it.

Ensure that you specify a date value in the End Date field.

Click Save.
The sales order will display the Create Renewal button that you can click later, as necessary.

Click the Create Renewal button whenever you need to renew this sales order.
After clicking the Create Renewal button, the renewal process will start immediately, regardless of the End Date.
