Verifying the Execution of Business Rules and Database Refreshes

After running a job, you should go to the Jobs page to check the job logs to check the status of the execution of rules in the job. From the Jobs page, you can verify if a database refresh is successful. The status of a successfully executed job is Completed. If the status is not Completed, then you can view the error log to review the specific errors that you may need to correct.

To validate the execution of a business rule in Planning and Budgeting:

  1. Click the Navigator icon Screenshot of the Navigator icon in NSPB, and under Application, select Jobs.

  2. Locate the job you are interested in reviewing under Recent Activity, and then confirm that the execution status is Completed.

  3. If the status is Completed with Errors or Error, click the Job Status link to view the error log.

    Review the error log to see if there are actions you must take to correct the error.
