FSM Project Record
In Field Service Management (FSM), the project record stores the project's type and dates and identifies its associated customer and asset. Programs use the type and dates to calculate a recurring schedule of service cases.
Fields Used with Programs
The following fields on the FSM Project form provide information used by Programs:
-
Customer - Identifies the customer associated with the project. Configured Program rules can use information from this customer.
-
Asset - Identifies the asset associated with the project. Configured Program rules can use information from this asset.
-
Type - Identifies the project's type. Programs use this value to find matching project rules.
-
Start Date - Provides the project's start date for Program scheduling.
-
End Date - Provides the project's end date for Program scheduling.
-
Program Start Date - Sets the starting date of the repeating case pattern.
-
Program Create Until - Stores the number of days ahead of today used for advance case creation.
-
Time Zone - Specifies the project's time zone. Programs use this value to determine today's date for advance case creation.
-
Update Program - Shows that Program processing has been requested for the project. FSM can check this box when it detects Program changes and clears it when no Program changes remain to process for the project. A checked box doesn't confirm that background processing is running.
For Program requirements, date behavior, and processing, see FSM Program. For program rules and field mappings, see FSM Program Configuration.
