Reviewing the Program List on a Project
In Field Service Management (FSM), use a project's Program list to review planned service dates and matching cases.
This topic includes the following sections:
The following steps describe the standard project form. Tab placement can differ on customized forms.
To view a project's program:
-
Go to Field Service > Projects.
-
Click View next to the project you want to review.
-
On the Field Service tab, go to the Program subtab.
The Program list is read-only. Each row represents a planned service occurrence based on the project's current values and program rules.
Program List Columns
The following table describes the columns in the Program list.
|
Column |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Type |
The case type for the planned occurrence. |
|
Program Date |
The date calculated for the planned occurrence. It can differ from the matching case's Start Date. |
|
Case |
The matching case for the planned occurrence. This column is blank when no case is matched to the row. |
|
Start Date |
The matching case's Start Date. This column is blank when no case is matched to the row. |
|
End Date |
The matching case's End Date. This column is blank when no case is matched or the matching case has no End Date. |
|
Status |
The matching case's status. This column is blank when no case is matched to the row. |
|
Assigned To |
The matching case's assignee, or a configured assignee for an occurrence without a matching case. This column can show a value before a case exists. It is blank when the occurrence has no assignee value. |
A blank Case value doesn't mean that no other case exists for the project. A planned occurrence also doesn't guarantee that a case will be created.
For date controls, case matching, and processing behavior, see FSM Program.
When the Program List Refreshes
When the Program list is visible, FSM refreshes it after changes to any of the following project fields:
-
Start Date
-
End Date
-
Type
-
Program Start Date
-
Program Create Until
-
Time Zone
Refreshing the list doesn't confirm that cases were created.
For rule settings and configuration examples, see FSM Program Configuration.
