Creating an Electronic Invoice for Services Series (Brazilian Hub SuiteApp)

NetSuite uses the electronic invoice for services series to generate this type of electronic invoice. The series determines the electronic invoice for services number assigned to each e-document. With the série NFS-e (electronic invoice for services series) record, NetSuite automatically assigns the numbers to each invoice, following a numbering sequence.

Cities may have specific requirements for the series name. Before you create the series in NetSuite, refer to the manual of the city you issue electronic invoices for, and review the requirements.

To create an electronic invoice for services series:

Go to BRHub > Fiscal > Série NF-e > New.
In the Name field, enter a name for the series.

You can use alphanumeric characters to name the series.
In the Subsidiária field, select the subsidiary that uses this series to generate its electronic invoices for services
In the Número Atual RPS field, enter the number of the last transitory receipt for services (RPS) number assigned to a service invoice.

NetSuite continues the numbering sequence from the number you enter in this field. This number is automatically updated whenever you generate a new electronic invoice.
Click Save.
