Troubleshooting the Tax Calculation in SuiteTax Latam Engine

Note:

You should create a case with NetSuite Customer Support to report tax calculation issues when:

• A tax is not properly calculated

• An error occurs in a transaction during the tax calculation

When you create the case, include the relevant tax details information from the transaction records you are reporting.

To troubleshoot the tax calculation in SuiteTax Latam Engine:

1. Go to the transaction record.

2. Click the Tax Details subtab.

3. Under the Taxes sublist, in the Details column, copy the content inside the column.

   The column displays the following information about each tax code applied to the transaction:

   • Tax determination rules ID – The internal ID of the tax determination rules record applied to the transaction.

   • SuiteTax Latam Engine plug-in ID – The internal ID of the plug-in used to calculate taxes on the transaction.

   • Tax calculation detail – Additional information provided by the plug-in.

4. Paste the content from the Details column in your support case.
