Creating a Planning Workbench View
NetSuite Supply Planning lets you create a Planning Workbench View, which can include an embedded item saved search and preset filters.
Using the item saved search, you can specify item-related criteria, such as item location and preferred supplier. Additionally, the preset filters offer greater flexibility and control, enabling you to focus on the most relevant data for your planning needs.
You can apply filters to the workbench when you select a default Planning Workbench View for the plan definition, or when you select a specific view from within the workbench. You don't need to enter or set a value for every filter. Select only the fields that are relevant to your planning scenario.
To create a planning workbench view:
-
Go to Lists > Supply Planning > Planning Workbench Views > New.
-
Enter a planning workbench view Name.
For example, Purchasing View or Scheduling View.
-
Select a Subsidiary to which this planning workbench view belongs.
In the workbench, the user will only see planning workbench views for their subsidiary. Planning workbench views without a subsidiary assigned will be visible to all users.
-
On the Item Criteria, select a Saved Search.
To learn more, see Defining a Saved Search.
