Note:

When following the chart above, the Ship VAT From country is determined by the country associated with the vendor’s tax registration number. This registration number is set on the Financial subtab of vendor records. If the country corresponding to vendor’s tax registration number is blank or no vendor’s tax registration number is selected, SuiteTax Engine determines the Ship VAT From country based on vendor’s billing address on the transaction. If there is no billing address available, the transaction is determined to be domestic.
