OAuth 2.0 authentication for the Field Service Management (FSM) mobile app is available as a beta feature. Complete a one-time setup to enable OAuth 2.0 for your account and activate it for the FSM mobile app.

Important:

This beta feature is intended for sandbox testing and isn't recommended for production account use. For the best beta experience, focus your testing on NetSuite login and authentication so you can review the setup process and mobile sign-in experience. Wait to test mobile data loading and syncing until a later release, because concurrency errors and timeouts are expected during the beta.

Complete the following tasks to enable OAuth 2.0 authentication in FSM:

Important:

You must have the Administrator role or a role with equivalent permissions to perform these steps.

  1. Enable the OAuth 2.0 Feature

  2. Getting the FSM Mobile Suitelet External URL

  3. Creating an FSM OAuth 2.0 Integration Record

  4. Creating FSM OAuth 2.0 API Secrets

After you finish these steps, FSM mobile app users can sign in using OAuth 2.0 authentication. Custom roles must have the Log in using OAuth 2.0 Access Tokens permission to use OAuth 2.0 authentication. To add this permission to a custom role, see Set Up OAuth 2.0 Roles.
