Adding a New Location

You need to define a location in Data Exchange to specify where you want to add the data load rule.

To add a new location:

  1. In your Planning and Budgeting environment, click the Navigator icon This icon takes you to the main menu in your Oracle EPM Planning application.. Then, under Integration, click Data Exchange.

  2. On the Setup tab, under Integration Setup, click Location.

  3. In Location, click the Add icon This lets you create a new location in your Oracle EPM Planning application..

  4. On the Location Details subtab, do the following:

    1. In the Name field, enter a unique name for this location.

    2. In the Import Format field, click A magnifier that enables you to select the required input format. to select the import format you created in Adding the Import Format.

  5. Click Save.
