Employee Metadata in Profitability and Cost Management Sync

Customers in NetSuite can use NSPC Employee Planning Category values to group employees into different categories and create their own custom hierarchy. When you import Employee metadata to your Profitability and Cost Management, the NSPC Employee Planning Category values are used to build the Employee metadata hierarchy.

You can define the NSPC Employee Planning Category on an employee record under the Custom subtab.

The Employee metadata hierarchy is built with the following logic:

If an employee from NetSuite has an NSPC Employee Planning Category, the NSPC Employee Planning Category is used in your Profitability and Cost Management as the parent.
If an employee from NetSuite doesn't have an NSPC Employee Planning Category, the top-level employee is used in your Profitability and Cost Management as the parent.
