ns_getRecordTransformMetadata
|
Tool Description |
Lists supported transformations from one NetSuite record type to another, such as a sales order to an invoice. Use this tool to identify a pair of source and target record types before calling ns_transformRecord. To check the target record's fields and their data types, use ns_getRecordTypeMetadata. Omit both filters to return all listed transformation pairs. Each filter can include multiple record types. When you provide both filters, the tool returns only transformations that match both. The tool returns a predefined list. It doesn't filter the list by your account configuration or role permissions. Whether a transformation succeeds also depends on the source record's eligibility. This tool doesn't create or change records. |
