Deleting Analytical Impact or SaaS Metric Records
In NetSuite, analytical impact and SaaS metric records may be automatically deleted under certain conditions. Here's when and how deletion can happen.
The system may delete records if:
-
The source transaction or transaction line is deleted.
-
The associated subscription or subscription line is deleted.
-
The status of a transaction changes from Pending Fulfillment/Pending Billing to Pending Approval.
-
The subscription line status is updated from Active to Pending Activation.
-
The transaction is voided or cancelled.
-
The start or end date of the source transaction is cleared (both dates must be present unless a billing schedule exists).
-
You manually delete records that were imported by CSV (auto-generated records can't be deleted manually).
Removal of related records:
-
If you clear the SaaS Metric Tracking field for an item, the system removes all linked analytical impact and SaaS Metric records.
-
If the transaction or subscription line doesn't fall within the SaaS Metric Start and End dates, the system removes related records.
When you delete an analytical impact record, all related SaaS Metric records are also deleted automatically.
