Analyzing Trends in the Item Revenue Dashboard

The Item Revenue Dashboard shows Revenue trends and year-over-year (YoY) variances by Item for the selected Account type. Use this dashboard to look at Revenue trends and YoY growth variances by Item for the selected Account.

This section includes general instructions for using these interactive subforms in the Item Revenue Dashboard:

• Item Rev Trend – Shows the total sales for the selected Account by Item type. You can see values as an amount or a percentage of total Revenue. The subform lets you drill down to contributing Item type and individual Item trend details.

• Item Rev: YoY Variance – Shows the YoY growth percentage by Revenue type for the Current Period, Year-to-Date, Current Financial Year Total and Next Financial Year Total. The subform lets you drill down to contributing Item type and individual Item variance details.

To analyze Revenue trends by Item for the selected Account:

Maximize or refresh each trend graph by clicking the Maximize icon and Refresh icon in each subform .

1. From the Home page, click the Revenue and Gross Margin card.

2. To open Total Revenue, click the 3 tab on the left.

3. Click Item Rev Dashboard.

4. In the Point of View (POV), choose a Version, Subsidiary, Currency, and Account.

5. In the Item Rev Trend subform, to review total sales trends:

   1. From the dropdown list, choose one of the following options:

      • To see the graph by value, select Amount.

      • To see the graph by percentage of the total Revenue, select % of Total Revenue.

   2. Click a line in the graph or click the Item type in the legend to drill down to individual contributing Item trends.

   3. Hover over a series point in the graph to see the series name, period (group), and value, and analyze the Revenue trend for each Item.

6. In the Item Rev: YoY Variance subform, to review the YoY growth percentage:

   1. Click Total Item in the legend to see the percentage YoY growth by Item. Drilling shows the YoY variances by each Item type.

      Click a bar in the graph or the Item type in the legend to drill down to individual contributing Item details.

   2. Hover over a series bar in the graph to see the series name, period (group), and value, and analyze the YoY variances for each Item.
