Analyzing Trends in the Item Revenue Dashboard

The Item Revenue Dashboard displays Revenue trends and year-over-year (YoY) variances by Item for the selected Account type. Use this dashboard to analyze Revenue trends and YoY growth variances by Item for the selected Account.

This section includes general instructions on how to use the following interactive subforms in the Item Revenue Dashboard:

• Item Rev Trend – Displays the total sales for the selected Account by Item type. You can display values as an amount or a percentage of total Revenue. The subform includes the option to drill to contributing Item type and individual Item trend details.

• Item Rev: YoY Variance – Displays the YoY growth percentage by Revenue type for the Current Period, Year-to-Date, Current Financial Year Total and Next Financial Year Total. The subform includes the option to drill to contributing Item type and individual Item variance details.

To analyze Revenue trends by Item for the selected Account:

You can maximize and refresh each trend graph individually by clicking the Maximize icon and Refresh icon in each subform , respectively.

1. From the Home page, Click the Revenue and Gross Margin card.

2. Click the 3 tab on the left-hand side to go to Total Revenue.

3. Click Item Rev Dashboard.

4. In the Point of View (POV), select a Version, Subsidiary, Currency, and Account.

5. Click the Go icon in the POV to apply the changes.

6. In the Item Rev Trend subform, to review total sales trends:

   1. From the Tracker list, select one of the following options:

      • To display the graph by value, select Amount.

      • To display the graph by percentage of the total Revenue, select % of Total Revenue.

   2. Click the Go icon in the Item Rev Trend subform to apply the changes.

   3. Click a line in the graph or click the Item type in the legend to drill to the individual contributing Item trends.

   4. Hover over a series point in the graph to display the series name, period (group), and value, and analyze the Revenue trend for each Item.

7. In the Item Rev: YoY Variance subform, to review the YoY growth percentage:

   1. Click Total Item in the legend to display the percentage YoY growth by Item. Drilling displays the YoY variances by each Item type.

      Click a bar in the graph or click the Item type in the legend to drill further to individual contributing Item details.

   2. Hover over a series bar in the graph to display the series name, period (group), and value, and analyze the YoY variances for each Item.
