Sales Subcategories
Currently, sales subcategories are only imported from Redcat.
Within a brand, select Stats Types
Here you can add subcategories to an existing stats type (Sales/Units). Can be different between sales/units
To add a new one click add new
To change the name, click on the name and type in the name
To deactivate click deactivate.
If there are deactivated ones you can re-activate them
These can be setup to drill in at the detail level required. EG:
In this diagram sales data should only be recorded to:

Customer in-store

UberEats
-
Deliveroo
-
Store Driver
However a team can be deployed based on sales at any of these levels. Eg Dine-in and Take away (or total sales) and this will use the total value for any of the children in the tree.
Deployment by sales subcategories

Click on a button to create a new team rule

Choose the team and the subcategory - knowing that Sales or Units is also classed as a subcategory.

If you select a subcategory with children the deployment will be based on the sum of all of its children and itself.
Using the diagram above, you could build a model for Takeaway and that would include all sales from UberEats, Deliveroo and Store Driver.
If you create multiple models for the same team these will be calculated independently and then added together when looking at staffing needs.
For example: In a restaurant you may build a model for the FOH team based on dine-in units and a second model based on takeaway units.
When an employee is needed in either of these models they will be added to the team’s staffing needs.
