Configuring Brands

The use of brands within WFM helps simplify the need to segregate different sections of a company. Creating different locations within brands stops any accidental employee crossover and confusion. You can create and apply default settings under a brand. When you create a location belonging to this brand, the default brand settings are applied to that location. You can then directly override the settings for each location. This means less time spent setting up new locations.

An example of multiple brands would be through a food company, which may own a type of chocolate bar, a soft drink, and a type of gum. Creating a different brand for each of these products will give better direction for employees and managers within the company.
