Transferring Consigned Inventory
You can create transfer orders or intercompany transfer orders to move consigned items between locations enabled for consigned inventory. To transfer consigned items, you must check the Use Item Cost as Transfer Cost setting on the order. Note that transfer orders that use transfer pricing are not supported.
When you add an item enabled for consigned inventory, you can assign a consigned status to consigned quantities on the inventory details. You can use regular inventory statuses for non-consigned quantities of the same item.
After you fully or partially fulfill a transfer order, you can't edit the Use Item Cost as Transfer Cost setting anymore. If you want to assign the Use Item Cost as Transfer Cost setting by default on new transfer orders that you create, see Transfer Order Preferences.
