Request for Audit Confirmation from HSBC

How can I request an audit confirmation to verify my HSBC Online Account for credit reviews, quality control audits, loan applications, and so on?

HSBC uses confirmation.com as the mechanism to receive all audit confirmation requests sent by auditors.

Confirmation.com is an online confirmation solution from US-based Capital Confirmation Inc., which lets banks respond to auditors directly for requests raised on behalf of customers.

Auditors must register with confirmation.com to use this service. After registration, confirmation.com will validate both the audit firm and the individual auditor. There is no registration fee, it is a "pay-as-you-go" service.

After the registration, the auditor sets up a company account. The account requires the name of an individual listed on the Certificate of Banking Authority. The individual will receive an email message from systems.administrator@confirmation.com, seeking permission for the auditor to request the information through confirmation.com. After this individual has provided authority, the auditor is notified through an email message and can initiate a request to HSBC.

After the confirmation is completed by HSBC, the auditor receives an email message notifying them that the confirmation is available on confirmation.com.
