NetSuite and Salesforce Order Syncs
Order syncs send Closed Won Opportunity data from Salesforce to NetSuite to Salesforce, and create a Sales Order in NetSuite. The NetSuite Sales Order is synced back to Salesforce to create an Order. When the NetSuite Sales Order is approved and fulfilled, and Item Fulfillment record is created in NetSuite. The Item Fulfillment record is synced back to Salesforce, creating a custom Fulfillment object. These syncs ensure that data in NetSuite related to Sales Orders and Item Fulfillment is the same as the data in Salesforce related to Closed Won Opportunities and Orders.
In each case, the Order syncs documented in this section apply only to Sales Orders generated in NetSuite from a Salesforce Closed Won Opportunity. When a NetSuite Sales Order has been created from a Salesforce Opportunity, the Sales Order will sync data back to a corresponding Order object in Salesforce. When the Sales Order is approved and fulfilled in NetSuite, the NetSuite Item Fulfillment record syncs data back to the corresponding Salesforce custom Fulfillment object.

For Order syncs to succeed, lookups must be defined in NetSuite to ensure that the syncs will be triggered as expected. For more information, see Manage Lookups.
