Setting Up Manufacturing Mobile

After you install the SCM and Manufacturing Mobile bundles, you can configure the NetSuite Manufacturing Mobile SuiteApp to best suit your organization’s needs.

To set up Manufacturing Mobile:

  1. Go to Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Periods:

  2. Click Set Up Full Year.

  3. Complete the Accounting Periods for Full Year page.

  4. Go to Setup > Company > Setup Tasks > Enable Features.

  5. In the Company subtab, check the Locations box.

  6. In the Items & Inventory subtab, check the Work Orders box.

  7. To enable bin management to identify where you store inventory items and track on-hand quantities, check the Inventory box, and then check the Bin Management box.

    To enable bins for assembly items, see Select to Use Bins.

  8. Click Save.
