Updating Item Records using Mass Update

After installing this SuiteApp, you can use the Mass Updates functionality to update existing items for the following:

• Receive new UPC codes automatically.

• Remove UPC codes from items.

• Exclude items from automatic UPC code assignment.

To update item records using mass updates:

1. Click General Updates.

2. Set any necessary criteria.

3. Click the Mass Update Fields subtab.

4. You can check the following boxes:

   1. Exclude from Auto-Assign UPC

   2. UPC Code Assignment

   Important:

   You must not select Blank for UPC Code and UPC Code Assignment fields.

5. Click Preview.

6. Click Perform Update.

For the UPC Code Assignment field, you can choose the following options:

• Assign New UPC Code - If you select this option, see Auto Assign UPC Script Deployment to perform the next steps for automatic UPC code assignment.

• Remove UPC Code - If you select this option, the UPC codes are removed from the selected item records and their statuses are set to Retired.

• Do not Assign New UPC Code - If you select this option, the selected item records will be excluded from automatic UPC code assignment.
