Adding the Unbilled Quantity When Using Custom Forms

For the SuiteApp to perform Negative Inventory Validation, the unbilled quantity value is required in the transaction record.

To add the Unbilled column in transaction records, you must customize every custom transaction form you use when creating an invoice or a cash sale transaction from a sales order.

Important:

Cash Sale and Invoice transaction forms must be enabled for your role before you can customize a form. If you do not have permission to customize a form, contact your account administrator to set the default forms for your role.

To add the unbilled quantity when using custom forms:

  1. Go to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.

  2. Click the Customize link of the form you want to customize.

  3. On the Sublist Fields subtab, check the Back Ordered box.

  4. Click Save.
