Configuring France Localization SuiteApp Features

Some features of the France Localization SuiteApp need configuration. To comply with the requirements of France’s generally acceptable accounting principles, and tax audit, you may want to enable additional settings in your NetSuite account.

For example, you may want to check if you are posting a transaction while 24 accounting periods are open, or set the names of your custom transactions as you want them to appear in the FEC report.

To configure France Localization SuiteApp features:

  1. Go to Setup > France Localization > Preferences.

  2. On the France Localization Configuration page, go to the General Configuration subtab.

  3. Check the box next to the setting that you want to enable.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Go to the FEC Configuration subtab.

  6. Follow the instructions to have a compliant France Fichier d’Ecritures Comptables (FEC).

For information about the options on the France Localization Configuration page, see France Localization Preferences.
