Net Mass Requirement in France Declaration of Exchange of Goods (DEB)
This topic is for NetSuite accounts that use the Country Tax Report page to generate the SuiteTax-based Declaration of Exchange of Goods (DEB) report for France. If you are using the EU Intrastat Report page, see France Intrastat DEB Report Fields.
To comply with the DEB requirements, the items included in the DEB report must have net mass information.
To prevent issues related to missing net mass information, you must fill in the Item Weight field on the Sales/Pricing subtab of the item record. This requirement applies to items that are of tax item type of Goods.
Excluding Items from DEB Report
For items where weight is inapplicable, such as non-inventory items for purchase, and other charge items, you can exclude them from the DEB report.
To exclude items from the report:

Go to the item record.

On the Tax subtab, edit the Tax Item Type field entry into Services.

Click Save.
