Phone Call

Phone calls records are used to document phone call activity. All information submitted for a phone call record is stored on a record in the phone call list, on the customer record who calls and on any contact's records referenced in the call contact list. For information about using phone call records in the UI, see Working with Phone Calls.

The phone call record is defined in the actSched (scheduling) XSD.

When the Time Tracking feature is enabled, the TimeItemList sublist is available. This list is used to track employee time associated with the phone call, including payroll, billing, and project fields.

Supported Operations

The following operations can be used to manipulate the phone call record.

add | addList | attach / detach | delete | deleteList | get | getDeleted | getList | getSavedSearch | getSelectValue | search | update | updateList | upsert | upsertList

Note:

You can also use the asynchronous equivalents of SOAP web services list operations. For information about asynchronous operations, see SOAP Web Services Asynchronous Operations. For more information about request processing, see Synchronous Versus Asynchronous Request Processing.
