Event Scheduling Notes
As you're scheduling events, be aware of the following:
Calendar Hot Keys for Events

Press Shift + t to enter tomorrow's date.
-
Press t to enter today's date.
-
Press y to enter yesterday's date.
-
Press m to enter the end of the month.
-
Press the Plus key (+) to move forward one day.
-
Press the Minus key (-) to move back one day.
Warning for Conflicting Events
On an event record, when you select start and end times that conflict with an existing event, NetSuite displays a warning that clearly indicates the name and time of the conflicting event.
Marking Events as Private
Only the owner of the event and the attendees can view an event marked as private. Private events don't show on the calendar, and they appear as Busy when checking availability on event records. If you've checked the Can Access Private Events box for one or more users, these users can see private events. Only attendees can track time against a private event.
Only the owner of a private event can delete it. Even users with the Administrator role can't delete private events from another user's calendar. These events must be deleted using the Delete Events mass update. See Mass Deleting an Employee's Events.
