Creating, Importing, and Exporting Applications in the Profitability Application Console
With appropriate security provisioning, you can use the Profitability Application Console to add a Profitability and Cost Management application in several ways.
To display the Profitability Application Console, see Using the Profitability Application Console and Other Application Features.
See the following for more information:
-
Create an application shell. Then, import specially formatted flat files containing dimension definitions (see Creating Applications with Dimensions from Flat Files).
-
Add a previously exported application using a template file. Template files contain dimensions, metadata, and other artifacts created by exporting templates from existing Profitability and Cost Management applications (see Building Applications by Importing Template Files and Migrating an Application from On-premises Profitability and Cost Management to EPM Cloud Profitability and Cost Management).
-
Import the provided sample application (BksML30). See Accessing the Sample Application.
-
Application Design Best Practices in the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Operations Guide.
Note:
You can only create an application if one doesn'tt exist yet.
To open and view the Profitability Application Console, see Using the Profitability Application Console and Other Application Features.
