Defining and Managing Rule Set Contexts

You can define a rule set context to specify default dimensions and members for use in all rules included in the selected rule set for the selected POV. It is convenient to do that while you are defining a rule set.

To define a rule set context for a new rule set:

  1. Define a rule set (Defining Rule Sets (Designer)).

  2. On the Create Rule Set screen, click Member Selections.

    The Member Selections page opens.

    Note:

POV dimensions and any dimensions defined in the global context are not available for selection.

  5. Next to the dimension name, click Select Member, and then Search button, (Search).

  6. Select members at each level to drill down and select members to assign to all rules in the rule set.
