First Name Is Optional for EPM Users

You can now create and update users in Cloud EPM without providing a First Name. The First Name field is optional and can be left blank when creating a new user or editing an existing user using Identity Cloud Console user interface, IDCS API, EPM Automate command, or EPM Cloud REST API.

Applies to:  Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting

Business Benefit:  This improves user administration by allowing Cloud EPM to support IAM users with no First Name value to support customers who do not want to provide first names of users while creating them in IDCS.
