Enhanced Configuration for Tax Automation
Tax Reporting now provides flexibility in Tax Automation setup with the introduction of three new columns in National and Regional Tax Automation forms: Source Year, Source Period, and Number of Periods – Annualize/De-Annualize.
These columns enable users to define the specific source year and period used for tax automation calculations, replacing the previous reliance on default values. For automation logic based on Annualize or De-Annualize, users can also specify the number of periods to be applied to the source data.
This feature is available by default for the out of the box forms, however, it can be added to custom Tax Automation forms.
Business Benefit: This new capability improves control, accuracy, and transparency in tax automation calculations by allowing users to align source-period, year, and number of periods configuration with their reporting and compliance requirements.
