- Upload the PAM acceptance file containing confirmation details.
- Enter confirmation details - schedule number, control number for PAM, confirmation date, and payment number range - in a chat window
- Confirm PAM and SPS Treasury payment schedules.
- Run the Create Accounting process for payments and Treasury schedule when required.
- Update the PAM control number and create the PAM Summary Schedule.
Users can enter “help” and the agent will show examples of what it can do.

U.S. Federal Treasury Confirmation Assistant’s response to user on what the agent can help with
Before confirming the schedules, the agent asks the user to approve the confirmation details.

User can approve or reject a Treasury Payment Schedule
After the schedules are confirmed, the agent lets the user know that the schedules are confirmed and provides a link to the generated output, if applicable.

Agent confirms the Treasury payment schedule and provides the schedule details
These are the business benefits:
- Reduces manual Treasury confirmation steps and associated data entry errors by applying standardized validations and controlled updates to Treasury payment schedules.
- Helps users monitor initiation, summary schedule creation, accounting, completion, and failures with status and exception notifications.
- Ensures reconciliation accuracy, processing consistency, and audit readiness.
Steps to enable and configure
The U.S. Federal Treasury Confirmation Assistant is a preconfigured template. You need to create your own agent using the preconfigured template. To learn how to set up AI agents, see How do I use AI Agent Studio.
In addition:
- The agency must operate as a Treasury Disbursing Office (TDO).
- You must opt in to the U.S. Federal Financials and Payments features.
- The general ledger must be defined as U.S. Federal
Tips and considerations
- Process one Treasury payment schedule at a time.
- For PAM payments, the agency user must retrieve acceptance details or files from Treasury and send the PAM Summary Schedule to Treasury when it’s created.
- For SPS payments, the user can enter the required schedule confirmation data directly; no acceptance file or summary schedule is needed.
- The agent doesn't interact directly with Treasury. Therefore, if validation or an update fails, either verify the input and retry later or complete the step manually.
